The Zastava M70AB2 was a weapon set to appear in Grand Theft Auto IV, but was cut from the final version.

Design

Grand Theft Auto IV

The Zastava M70 are Yugoslavian variants of the Soviet AKM assault rifles, the M70B1 is from the AKM design and the M70AB2 is from the AKMS design. The Zastava M70AB2 does not appear in the final version, had been replaced by the actual AK-47.

It is best seen during the second trailer for the game, "Looking For That Special Someone", during in which Niko attacked the LCPD with the weapon.

General

• Zastava means "flag" in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin and Slovenian.

• In the files there are unused AK-47 sounds. Those might have been used by the Zastava.
