Willy Valerio is a mentioned character in Grand Theft Auto IV and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Valerio, originally from South Bohan, is the leader of the Northwood Dominican Drug Dealers. He has several criminal convictions, including Grand Theft Auto in 1998, possession of crack cocaine in 2001, and assault in 2005. Valerio is said to be trying to expand the gang's drug dealing horizons but is having serious trouble due to local competition, namely The North Holland Hustlers and Clarence Little's East Holland Drug Gang.

Willy was a close associate of Luis Lopez until Luis' arrest years earlier however upon his release from prison, Luis decided to go straight and so he cut all ties with Valerio and the Northwood Dominican Drug Dealers. An interesting note is that Henrique Bardas calls him Willy Valero (evident by the subtitles in-game and by how he says it) forming an inconsistency on how his name is spelt on the police database.

LCPD Database record

First Name:Willy
Place of Birth:South Bohan, Liberty City
  • Northwood Dominican Drug Dealers
Criminal Record:
  • 1998 - Grand Theft Auto
  • 2001 - Possession Controlled Substance: Crack Cocaine
  • 2005 - Assault
  • Believed to be the head of a gang of Northwood based Dominican drug dealers that includes Oscar and Alonso Gomez.
  • Associate of Luis Fernando Lopez - personal bodyguard to "Gay" Tony Prince.
  • Believed to be attempting to compete with North and East Holland dealing operations but does not shift a significant volume of product.

  • It's possible, that Willy Valerio was supposed to be a friend of Luis Lopez instead of Henrique Bardas and Armando Torres, but was cut from the game during development. It's strengthened by the fact, that neither Henrique nor Armando have been mentioned in LCPD Police Database.
