Not to be confused with the GTA Online Casino Work mission When the Chips are Down.

When the patron saint of killing cops and smoking meth is telling you to to atone, you know you've been a bad girl.
CEO

When the Blue Chips are Down is one of the Stubbs' Dirty Laundry side missions in The Lost and Damned, given to Johnny Klebitz by Thomas Stubbs.

Overview[]

Stubbs informs Johnny to drive to the indicated area to help a CEO friend of his, who has been earning a bit more money than she should have, and just been arrested by an FIB and LCPD task force.

Walkthrough[]

Grab a vehicle and get to the CEO. The police have blocked off all of the alleyway entrances and exits, so the player will have to kill all of the cops and fight his way into the alley in Vitullo Avenue, Berchem.

Once inside, kill all of the cops near-by, then stand behind the CEO and uncuff her. Once she's free, she'll get in the car, so get in it with her and drive out of the alleyway.

Take her to the helipad above the Booth Tunnel. Once the player get there, he needs to defend the helicopter from whatever LCPD and FIB approach the helipad, although it only takes her about 5 seconds to take off.

A cutscene show her flying out towards the coast of Northwood before getting on her yacht and escaping.

Trivia[]

  • While Johnny uncuffs the CEO, both of them will be invulnerable for a short period of time from police gunfire.
  • When asked to enter the car with the CEO, the player can choose not to and escape from the area alone to get rid of their wanted levels first. Upon returning, any remaining officers in the area will still remain hostile towards the player but there will not be any wanted level (unless they fire back at them).
  • If the player does not kill the remaining officers in the area before escaping, a couple of FIB Buffaloes with two agents each is scripted to spawn behind the Sentinel and chase after the player as they escape from the area. If the player drives with the camera facing towards the rear of the car, they will not spawn. However, the moment the camera is turned to face forward, they will immediately spawn behind the car.
  • The FIB in this mission use Micro-SMGs instead of the SMGs they use in regular gameplay.
