The Wheelchair is a device intended for use by people who cannot walk due to illness, injury or disability. It is a small, single seat device with two large wheels on the back and two rotatory wheels on the front to facilitate steering.

As a user-operated vehicle, the Wheelchair is slow and difficult to maneuver, and not practical for travelling, with its speed matching that of a walking pedestrian's.

There is also an unusable wheelchair in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas located at the end of a dock in Fisher's Lagoon. It has the same model texture as some trash dumpsters that can be found around San Andreas. This wheelchair is most likely an Easter egg.
