Westdyke is a town in Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City located at the northern extremity of Alderney. It is bounded to the south at Beaverhead Avenue and Bridger Street (Leftwood) and surrounded on all other sides by the ocean.
Description[]
Westdyke consists of 50 single-family homes built, for the most part, in the Queen Anne style. It is a highly affluent area of Alderney.
Influence[]
Being a largely affluent, suburban community, Westdyke appears to be based off Englewood, Tenafly, Weehawken, and other towns located in Bergen County, New Jersey. The cliffs that separate the abandoned mansion as well as the streets between it and the Hickey Bridge from the West River are likely influenced by the Palisades cliffs.
