Washington Beach was first mentioned in Grand Theft Auto IV on the in-game website hornyhighschoolreunions.com by Peter Wyndup and Claire Floward, who attended Washington Beach High School in the late 1980s.
Influence[]
It appears to be inspired by either the Mid-Beach or North Beach section of the city of Miami Beach, Florida.
