Vladimir is a cut character scheduled to appear as a main antagonist in Grand Theft Auto Advance.
History[]
Background[]
Vladimir is a former Soviet Secret Service operative and the current leader of the Russian Mafia in Liberty City in 2000. He was scheduled to appear as one of the two main antagonists of Grand Theft Auto Advance (along with the Scorelli Boss), as the person who stole the money from Ned "The Kid" Braden and Reg Dunlop (early iterations of Mike and Vinnie respectively).
This character and associated gang were not included in the final version.
Events of Grand Theft Auto Advance (2003)[]
While working for the Yakuza, the Kid discovers that his stolen money is in the hands of Russian Mafia leader Vladimir at a heavily secured compound. The Kid captures and kills Vladimir's high-ranking man Boris, weakening the organization.[2][3] Afterwards, the Kid and the Yakuza launch an attack on the Russian Mafia compound, killing several members of gang inside.[4]
Vladimir manages to survive the attack, but is spotted by the Yakuza while leaving the compound with the Kid's money. Vladimir is then killed by the Kid during a car chase in Staunton Island.[1]
