Vinnie is a cut character scheduled to appear as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto Advance.
History[]
Background[]
Vinnie is a member of the Scorelli Crime Family, an Italian-American mafia organization operating in Portland, Liberty City. The organization is targeted by Ned "The Kid" Braden (early iteration of Mike) for stealing the money he and his friend Reg Dunlop (early iteration of the final version's Vinnie character) were saving to leave the city and start a new life.
This character and associated gang were not included in the final version. However, his name is recycled for the new iteration of Reg Dunlop's character.
Events of Grand Theft Auto Advance (2003)[]
While working for the Triads, the Kid discovers that his stolen money is in the hands of the Scorellis at a heavily secured oil refinery.[2] With the guidance of Lee, the Kid blows up the Scorelli-owned refinery, only to find out from a surviving mobster that the money has been secured to another Scorelli-owned hideout.[3]
During his search for his stolen money, the Kid interrogates a Scorelli mobster named Vinnie in one of the gang hideouts. However, Vinnie has a heart attack and dies before revealing where the money is.[1]
