The Vice City Junkyard is located in western Little Haiti in Vice City, appearing in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
In GTA Vice City, it is known as Junk Yard onscreen on the HUD and City Scrap on the entrance sign. In GTA Vice City Stories, it is known as Junkyard on the HUD and as Breaker's Yard in mission objectives.
Description[]
Unlike the Harwood Autocrusher and Junkyard in Liberty City, none of the facilities are usable. The junkyard is the scene for the mission Death Row, where Tommy has to save Lance from being tortured by Diaz's goons.
The junkyard seemed to have gotten busier in 1986 than it was in 1984; there are large stacked piles of compressed waste around the southern parameter of the premises in GTA Vice City, a second processor has been installed and an inaccessible clawed excavator is present, all of which are absent in GTA Vice City Stories.
Railway tracks, indicative of a former industrial railway, are present in the junkyard, suggesting that trains may have been used at some point in Vice City.

Trivia[]
- Like many other areas of Vice City Mainland, the junkyard is an asset reused from the early development of Rockstar North's shared universe title Manhunt.
- Most of the Junkyard props and textures originate from the Dentons City Junkyard in Manhunt, which was under its final stage of development when GTA Vice City came out.
- In addition, some of the Junkyard and Phil's Place props and textures were reused for the Angel Pine Junkyard in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
- Technically, the Junkyard is not considered part of Little Haiti and is treated as a separate district by the game.
- The Junkyard doesn't have its own Police Scanner audio file, and uses the "Escobar International" scanner audio file instead for the VCPD dispatch when Tommy commits a crime with a wanted level in the area.
- In GTA Vice City, two very large, angular "walls" of garbage, located to the south and west of the landfill, are objects that are visibly unfinished – their top parts are not fully modeled or lack textures, with collision detection also being inaccurate.
