Valdez Alert! is a mission in Grand Theft Auto 2 available during Area 2: Residential, given to the protagonist Claude Speed by the Zaibatsu Corporation boss Red Valdez. The mission is available from the right yellow phone in The Village in Residential District.
Moderate respect for the Zaibatsu is required in order to unlock this mission, indicated by the yellow light icon below the gang's respect-o-meter on the HUD.
Description[]
Red Valdez has decided to strike at the Scientists by destroying their Cold Fusion Generators inside their Research Center. He sends Claude on this mission, but not before allowing several of his men to follow.
Reward[]
The reward for completing the mission is $50,000, +1 Score Multiplier, and increased Zaibatsu Respect level.

Answering the phone, Claude Speed is hired by Red Valdez to destroy the SRS cold fusion generators from the Scientist Research Center in Stromberg, and sends some his men to help him.
Stealing a vehicle with enough seats.
Driving to the ramp nearby.
After using the ramp to jump on the roof of the Futuro FM Headquarters, the solar panels should be used as a ramp to the old railway tracks.
Landing on the railway tracks.
Driving the car through the railway tracks.
Arriving at the SRS territory.
Using the vehicle to get past a wall of the SRS Scientist Research Center.
Landing inside the facility.
Guiding the Zaibatsu members through the facility.
Killing the Scientists.
Finding an anti-blast suit dispenser in one of the walkways leading to the first targeted generator.
Going upstairs with the anti-blast suit on.
Location the generator.
Throwing Grenades at the generator.
First generator is destroyed.
Killing more Scientists on the way to the second generator.
Finding a platform near the train tracks.
Jumping from box to box...
...to get access to another walkway.
The walkway leads to another anti-blast suit dispenser.
Locating the other generator upstairs.
Throwing Grenades at the generator.
Second generator is destroyed.
Leaving the area.
Returning to the vehicle used to get access to the facility.
Escaping from the Scientist Research Center.
Mission Complete!
