Template:Next-Gen Template:Infobox vehicles

Say what you like about the Reds, but they knew a thing or two about brutalist military chic. The V-65 Molotok has been reproduced in juntas and dictatorships right across the developing world, and that's not just because of its lethal efficiency, or its complete indifference to the comfort and safety of the pilot. It's because when you look this merciless, the battle's won before you've even taken off.
Please note: This aircraft is excluded from Pegasus Lifestyle Management and must be stored in a personal hangar.
Warstock Cache & Carry description.

The V-65 Molotok is a military fighter jet featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Smuggler's Run update.

Design

Grand Theft Auto Online

The V-65 Molotok is a Korean War era fighter jet primarily based on the Russian Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15/MiG-17, with the wing positioning of the Yakovlev Yak-30 with the stabilizer setup of the North American F-86 Sabre. The fact that it can carry rocket pods seems to emulate the MiG-15bis/MiG-17AS, which is the upgraded ground attack version of the MiG-15/MiG-17.

The V-65 Molotok is depicted as a single-seat fighter jet with a two-tone color, where the primary one is applied to the entirety of the aircraft and the secondary one on the intake portion and the wingtips. By default, lacks weapon hardpoints, but will add a pair of these when the drop tanks or the rocket launchers are installed.

Like the RM-10 Bombushka, the interior features a blue flight deck, with dials with the indicators in Russian, clearly stating its origin.

Performance

Grand Theft Auto Online

The Molotok performs similar to the other jets available in the game, however it is seemingly more agile thanks to its swept wings and has a strong ability to take off in small areas. It also sports a unique air-brake located around the engine bay which expands and retracts under aileron pressure.

Caution should be taken when installing drop tanks, as it will occupy some space during take-offs, though it should barely make contact with the ground when the required speed is achieved.

  • The plane is equipped with two machine guns found on the front, which provide a small amount of protection against enemies in flight.
  • By default, lacks missile launchers, but can be added via customization, adding two launchers on either wing with 15 units each. The missiles can be fired without a delay after two are fired - a feature shared with the Pyro, P-45 Nokota, FH-1 Hunter and Savage.
