Uzi Money is a mission in Grand Theft Auto III given to protagonist Claude by Red Jacks leader D-Ice from a public phone booth in the Wichita Gardens district Shoreside Vale, Liberty City.
Mission
D-Ice wants Claude to eliminate twenty Purple Nines in a drive-by within two minutes and thirty seconds. D-Ice supplies Claude with an unlimited amount of Uzi ammunition. Claude then locates and kills twenty Purple Nines, avoiding the Red Jacks who also attack Claude.
Mission Objectives
In order to complete the mission the player must:
- Get a vehicle, remember only Uzi drive by kills count!
- Ice 20 Purple Nines in 2 minutes 30 seconds. The 'Nines' walk their turf in Wichita Gardens.
Tips
- This mission is significantly easier to complete on PC, as the console version of the mission includes the player being continuosly rammed by Gang Rumpos. This, combined with police attention, can make the mission extremely frustrating.
- As in the mission Uzi Rider, do not shoot when a police officer is nearby until he walks away from Claude's sight while the player is ready to perform drive-bys in the vicinity of any visible Purple Nines gangsters.
- The ideal vehicle for this mission is the bulletproof Patriot, which can be acquired in the mission Marked Man, or even the bulletproof Barracks OL, which can be acquired in the mission Arms Shortage and is strong enough to sustain ramming damage from the Gang Rumpos and Police Cars.
- Shooting with the tank turret DOES count, it is easier to shoot a wall and kill the enemies with the blast than hit the enemies themselves.
Reward
The reward for completing the mission is $10,000 and the mission Toyminator is unlocked.
