The AWP variant of the Brute Utility Truck is a utility vehicle appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Influence[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
Being a variant of the Utility Truck, which is in turn a variant of the Stockade, the truck appears to be based on the International 4700 Series.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Utility Truck has a large main chassis that is closely based on the Stockade, sharing the same grille, headlights, cowl and rear-view mirrors. This variant of the Utility Truck features a large rear platform with a non-functional crane. It features Nowinski Construction Corporation decals on the doors and the rear bucket.
The vehicle spawns with numerous body extras which significantly change the truck's layout:
- A series of large cabinets, including 3 vertical doors along either side and 1 horizontal door, and a rear step. Labelled
extra_1
internally. - A basic platform with a top cabinet positioned behind the driver's cab, and a single cabinet mounted on either side, underneath the platform along the wheelbase. Lacks a rear bumper or step. Labelled
extra_2
internally. - A low-bed variant of the first body extra, lacking the top horizontal cabinets and instead featuring 2 large, vertical cabinets on top of the rear platform, positioned directly behind the driver's cab. Labelled
extra_3
internally.
None of the extra components can co-exist at any time.
Animation files for the crane remain in the files, but are not used in the final game. These files were added in the enhanced version of the game, suggesting the crane was originally supposed to be functional exclusively for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game. If the player enables the animation in the files, it functions in the same way as convertible cars. [1]

Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]

- The boom and bucket on the AWP lack collisions, allowing them to clip through the ground and other surfaces in the event of a collision.
