The vehicle appeared in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks. In one clip, it can be seen in red at the parking lot of Hank's Waffles in Port Gellhorn, as well as pulling a trailer across the street in front of Easy Inn.[1][2] In another clip, it is found at the parking lot of Cipher Mall in Rockridge, Vice City, in red behind a Vapid ute of the same color.[3] Additionally, it is perhaps more clearly observable in another clip, driving past Lucia's male accomplice twice in blue, partially obscured by a world events menu, showcasing both the front and rear views of the vehicle.[4][5]

It appears to be primarily based on a fifth generation Toyota RAV4, with some design elements seemingly inspired by other Japanese SUVs.
