Description[]

The boat first appeared in GTA VIs September 2022 GTA VI leaks, where test footage showed the fanboat parked on dry land in Vice City International Airport, showcasing its fan and turning fins animations.^[1] The boat could later be seen be seen traversing through the Grassrivers in the game's first trailer.

Influence[]

The boat appears to be based on numerous custom built airboats by Panther Airboats. The boat's general body type most closely resembles Panther Airboat's basic 16x8 Panther model, while the arched metal cage and lack of front bench seat resembles the company's 18x8 Panther model.

Design[]

The boat appears to be powered by a large engine and fan mounted on the rear, enclosed in a metal cage, and features two seats raised above a flat hull. The rear of the boat features two turning fins used to direct wind from the fan in order to turn the boat. The metal cage surrounding the engine features twin spotlights.
