A Vapid police car is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description[]
The police car can be seen responding, along with a police SUV, along a road in Leonard County, in the first trailer (1:00).
A civilian, ghost, taxi and donked-out version of the vehicle are also seen to exist in the first trailer.
The vehicle assumes a standard four-door sedan design comparable to that of the recurring Police Cruisers, appearing to be a blend of the first and second generation models. It is depicted with a green and white Leonard County Sheriff livery and is equipped with flashing headlights, a pushbar and blue/red LED lightbar.
Influence[]
Its design seems to be based on that of the Ford Panther platform, used by various Ford Motor Company-built sedans, including the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car. The bodywork itself resembles that of a second generation Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. The headlights and front turn signals resemble those found on the fourth generation Mercury Grand Marquis.

Trivia[]
- To obtain sound samples for this car, Rockstar North utilized a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that had been imported to the United Kingdom.[1]
