A first generation model of a Vapid SUV is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description[]
The SUV can be seen overturned on a busy Leonida highway in the first trailer (1:03). The side of the SUV is also seen later in the first trailer, behind a PMP 700 and alongside a Bravado pickup truck (1:07), with the SUV's pillars matching the configuration of the one seen overturned on the freeway.
The vehicle appeared in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks. In the leaked footage, it is depicted with a red interior.[1]
Influence[]
The design appears to draw inspiration from the second generation Ford Explorer, more specifically on the 1998–2001 XLT/XL models, as evidenced by the tail lights and rear fascia seen in the leaked footage. The headlights and grille seem to be influenced by the second generation Ford Ranger, along with some elements from the first generation Ford Expedition. Additionally, the front bumper depicted in the leaked footage seems to be modeled after the fifth generation Toyota Hilux/second generation Toyota 4Runner.
