The pickup truck can be seen driving into the Starlet Motel in a screenshot from the Port Gellhorn section of the game's promotional website. The tailgate features embossed lettering for Canis, confirming its manufacturer.
The vehicle previously appeared in two brief, separate instances in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks. In one clip, the vehicle’s rear is seen driving past the Gas Stop branch in Port Gellhorn, along Route 2,[1] while in another, its side profile is visible in grey as it passes an unnamed prison complex on a different highway.[2]
Influence[]
It appears to be based on the Jeep Scrambler (CJ-8), the long-wheelbase version of the Jeep CJ-7.
