A Buick Skylark-inspired car is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description[]
The vehicle first appeared in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks, most notably in a clip of it driving past Lucia in white during a police shootout in the Rockridge neighborhood of Vice City, where clear views of its front, side, and rear are visible.[1]
The sedan later officially appeared in the first trailer, seen parked up at a gas pump at an Arrow gas station in Leonard County (0:50). The rear of the car is also partially visible in a screenshot from the Ambrosia section of the game's promotional website.
Influence[]
It appears to be primarily based on the 1992–1995 Buick Skylark.
The leaked footage shows a closer view of the car from the front and back.[1] The car features a unique lightbar at the front that seems to be a cross between the first-generation Mercury Sable LS and the 1992–1996 Pontiac Grand Prix sedan. The side profile seems to be taken from either the 1991–1996 Buick Roadmaster or the pre-facelifted fourth generation Chevrolet Caprice, while the rear fascia and tail lights take elements from the first-generation Chevrolet Lumina.
