Intelligence is a mission featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Criminal Enterprises update. It is part of the Operation Paper Trail mission strand.
Description[]
The mission starts with a cutscene of Agent ULP granting the GTA Online Protagonist the rank of IAA field agent, by reading the sworn-in dictated by the IAA superiors, including "lying to the American people whenever strategically necessary". When the GTA Online Protagonist remains silent, the ULP contact interprets it as an enthusiastic consent and congratulates them.
The crew is instructed to go to San Andreas Avenue, where ULP informs them that the gas prices have raised significantly and that he suspects it is part of an "old-fashioned conspiracy", with the leading suspect being the Duggan Crime Family. He informs them that the location where they are heading is the residence of Mason Duggan, the younger brother of Thornton. The crew is then instructed to enter the apartment.
Once inside, the crew is tasked with finding Mason's laptop and hacking it with hacking software given by ULP. The player must complete the hacking by opening BruteForce.exe and selecting the eight highlighted letters. Once it is done, the laptop briefly displays a map with two red markers, where the targets would be. The players are then instructed to leave the apartment.
Recover two from the FIB depot
Once outside, ULP reveals that the Duggans have been given two collection points by the Bureau: the headquarters and a seized contraband depot in Cypress Flats. The crew can choose which target location to retrieve first:
FIB HQ[]
The crew is given the option to find a maintenance outfit marked at the Alta Construction Site, loaded on two Burrito vans with the rear doors open, so they can get through the HQ without alerting anyone inside. The crew is then tasked with entering the HQ with their weapons concealed and using the elevator to get to the target floor.
Once on the upper floor, ULP warns that if they are spotted outside of the construction area, the FIB will become suspicious and will attack them immediately. The crew is tasked with finding a tablet and some kind of a miniature data storage device, located in one of the main rooms and heavily guarded by FIB personnel. From there, the player can take them down with suppressed weapons or silent melee takedowns, provided they are not within the vision of another enemy. If a player is spotted, there is still a small chance to take them out before alerting anyone.
Once the two hardware devices are collected, the crew is instructed to leave the HQ. If they remain undetected, they can simply move towards the entrance with no issues.
FIB Depot[]
The crew is informed by ULP that they must deal with the security system of the depot, by finding and destroying two fuse boxes located on the exterior of the depot. The fuse boxes won't be marked on the radar, but a red arrow icon can be still seen above the boxes. Once they are destroyed, they can enter the FIB depot without triggering the alarm.
Once inside, the depot (with the same appearance as a lower garage floor of the Arena Workshop) is totally dark and the crew must use a Flashlight to search for the hardware devices scattered through: an external hard drive and some sort of VR headset. Once collected, they are instructed to leave the depot.
End[]
After collecting all the required hardware from both sites, the crew is instructed to deliver them to the drop-off located behind one of the warehouses in LSIA, where two IAA agents with an Unmarked Cruiser will be waiting. Once getting to the location, ULP congratulates them for the mission and informs that they will start working to find clues about the situation, thus completing the mission.

Trivia[]
- Agent ULP incorrectly refers to Thornton Duggan as the son of Avery Duggan, when he is actually his nephew.
