Asset Seizure is a mission featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Criminal Enterprises update. It is part of the Operation Paper Trail mission strand.
Description[]
Before the mission starts, ULP will call the player about Agent Johnson's report, to inform that the Duggans are leveraging some kind of high-advanced neural network, and AI program to inflate gas prices and manipulate every aspect of the global oil market to their advantage, thus dificulting the trace. However, due to their recent actions, the Duggans are moving the tech to a more secure location and they have to intercept it.
At the start of the mission, the player is tasked to search the van that is being marked on the map. However, ULP informs that there is a jamming network interfering with the signal and that the player must deal with it by destroying the jammer antennas.
There are five jammers located on the top of various buildings, guarded by Duggan members. Destroying all jammers is not mandatory, but will reduce the size of the search area. When all the jammers are destroyed, the van will be precisely marked on the map. The van can be different models, such as a Rumpo or Boxville.
Once the van is stolen, the player must bring it to a drop-off in Great Chaparral. There will be Duggan reinforcements pursuing the player in Kamacho and Caracara 4x4 pickup trucks, including roadblocks with a Caracara pickup truck, with a Duggan member on the turret. At the drop-off, there will be two IAA agents with an Unmarked Cruiser nearby. After bringing the van, the mission is completed.
Mission Objectives[]
- Search the area for the van.
- Steal the van containing the hardware.
- Deliver the van to the drop-off.

Trivia[]
- If the player manages to find the van without destroying any of the signal jammers, ULP will be bewildered and congratulate the player for their feat. Another similar, less enthusiastic response will also be given if the van is found with only part of the signal jammers destroyed.
