Twitchin's Sugar Factory is a seemingly abandoned factory located on Creek Street in Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes from Liberty City and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars in BOABO, Broker, Liberty City. It is located on Creek Street.

Description[]

The factory is somewhat large, although the player can only access one room overlooking the Humboldt River, led to by a stairway from the main area. With a helicopter (or other tricks), the player can get above the room, onto other levels of the factory, though there is nothing of interest. According to the television show I'm Rich, the factory is bought and is owned by Tony McTony.

The Contender required for Stevie's Car Thefts is located at the factory.

Influence[]

The factory is based on the Domino Sugar Refinery[1] in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The two landmarks share the distinctive (and quite similar) logo. Apart from the similarities, The Twitchin's factory is much smaller.

Events of Grand Theft Auto[]

Events of Grand Theft Auto IV[]

In Bleed Out, Niko and Roman Bellic chase Dardan Petrela to the factory, where he crashes his car and tries to escape through the metal staircase leading to the upper floor. Niko chases him and he and Dardan stand off, before Dardan is killed, falling through the window into the Humboldt River.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]

Soon after Huang Lee arrives at the Francis International Airport, he is ambushed and shot in the head by some armed gangsters. Assuming he was killed by the gunshot wound, the ambushers drive to the sugar factory and dump the car with Huang inside in the Humboldt River. He manages to escape the sinking car before it hits the bottom of the river, swims back to shore and steals a Buccaneer parked in front of the factory, before meeting with his uncle Wu "Kenny" Lee in Cerveza Heights.
