A Treasure Chest found in GTA Online.
Treasure Chests are a recurring collectible in Grand Theft Auto Online, added as part of the continuation of The Cayo Perico Heist update, released on December 31, 2020, during the GTA Online Bonuses (December 2020 Part 2) event.
Description
Starting from December 31, 2020, Treasure Chests are made available for players to find in Cayo Perico during scoping for the heist.
There are 19 possible locations – ten on land and nine underwater. Each real-life day, two will spawn at random locations, but one will always be on land and the other in water. The chests also emit a sound, which helps with locating them. They will each give the player $15,000 and 1,000 RP upon collection. If the player has collected both, they must wait until the next day if they wish to collect more.
