Inferno is a Transform Stunt Race featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of the Smuggler's Run update, released on October 27, 2017, during the Halloween Surprise 2017 event. It is available for up to 16 players.
Description[]
The race takes place in north west San Andreas, spanning between the Alamo Sea and North Point, Paleto Bay. It is a Halloween-themed race and features the Vigilante released in the same event.
The race is set at night with a unique time-cycle, giving the game a unique eerie green sky. The weather is locked to thunderstorms and the time is locked to exactly 4:02 am.
Inferno is the first race to feature a unique transform - the Beast. When transformed to, the player is able to use all the Beast abilities, including its fast run and super jump abilities. Some checkpoints during the Beast transform will require use of the super jump in order to reach. The race is a 65 checkpoint long Point to Point race.
