The Trailer[1] is a towable trailer in Grand Theft Auto V.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto V[]
The Trailer is designed as a twin-axle boat carrier with a large profile and a Marquis prop on top. It has a frame chassis with the corresponding male attachment on the front, various side-facing marker lights on top, large black fenders and circular tail lights on the rear end, along with red/white warning stripes on either side and small warning patterns on the frontal area and on the rearmost fenders.
The trailer has numerous support beams and silver/chrome hooks with cables to keep the vessel in place, together with additional beams and hooks for the mast. The vessel itself is based upon the drivable Marquis model, but the sails are rolled down (in a similar way to the GTA IV iteration) and the mast is carried apart in order to reduce the overall height. The boom of the vessel rotates when the trailer is in motion.
The trailer is only seen in a red color, with the Marquis prop appearing in white and blue. In the files, it is revealed that the trailer actually inherits the secondary color, while the Marquis inherits the primary color (white for most of the hull) and the wheel color (blue for the lower portion of the hull and keel, side stripes on the upper area, and the section around the large windows of the living quarters). The trailer makes use of industrial wheels derived from most trucks, but they are independent from each other, as there is no axle between them.
The trailer cannot be towed by any vehicle, as it is not listed under any trailer property of trucks. If the player gains one, driving a truck up to the trailer in attempt to hook it will result in the stands failing to raise and the fifth wheel not accepting the trailer.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto V[]
Although the trailer appears to be mostly composed of thin framing, it weights as much as an Army Trailer, usually resulting in a slow vehicle with reduced handling. The low ground clearance means it will easily scratch on any terrain or even get stuck on any pronounced obstacle, therefore making the vehicle only suitable for flat terrain.
Being a trailer, it cannot be driven; however, it does feature its own handling line.

Prominent Appearances in Missions[]
Grand Theft Auto V[]
- Father/Son - The Trailer is seen being pulled by a Phantom while being chased by Michael and Franklin. They also have to rescue Jimmy, as he had been kidnapped inside the boat.
Trivia[]
Grand Theft Auto V[]
- Even during the mission, the model appears to be very inaccurate to a real-life yacht trailer. As well as the aforementioned axle-less property, the entire chassis of the vehicle appears to be very low to the ground, often clipping with it. It also appears to lack a form of suspension, and the distance between the two sets of wheels would be troublesome, while the keel of the yacht glitches through the ground. Even if a vehicle was able to hook up to the trailer in normal gameplay, the lack of any trailer stands, the overall low ground clearance and the inaccurate male attachment mean it would not be physically possible for a truck to hook onto.
- The frontal warning pattern on the top of the trailer clips through the first support beams.
