The Tommy is a vehicle in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories that was cut from the final version of the game. The model, textures, and data lines remain in the mobile release of the game.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories[]
The Tommy is depicted as a two-door compact car reminiscent of a Morris Mini, with several alterations to the front section, the rear section, the headlights, the tail lights, and the interior size (unlike a Morris Mini, the Tommy only has enough room for two seats, as the rear section is replaced with a trunk compartment).
The Tommy can have a single or two-tone color scheme and it has an open roof. The front bumper gives the impression that the front end is much larger compared to the rest of the car, and it features side vents near the main doors.
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories[]
Based on what the handling.cfg file suggests, the Tommy had a relatively low mass like the Manana and was a front wheel drive vehicle. Its top speed was 103 mph (165 km/h) and it had a petrol engine coupled to a five-speed gearbox.
Trivia[]
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories[]
- A part of the rear license plate, R*L-J3N, is likely a reference to Rockstar Leeds, as they made most of the unique vehicles featured only in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, like the Deimos SP and the V8 Ghost.[1]
