The Eberhard Titan 250 D is a gunship transport plane appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Agents of Sabotage update.
Influence[]
The Titan 250 D appears to be based on the Lockheed AC-130, a ground-attack gunship variant of the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, specifically the AC-130U Spooky variant, evident from its four-bladed propellers and the three weapons mounted on the port side of the aircraft: a rotary cannon, an autocannon, and a high-caliber howitzer. The extra fuel tanks on the wings seem to be inspired by the refueling tanks found on the Lockheed MC-130 family of planes.

The Titan 250 D performs largely similar to the original Titan, being a large aircraft with slow speed and sluggish handling. However, this plane makes up for its shortcomings by having very high resistance, taking 12 RPG or homing missiles, 35 explosive round shots or 25 railgun shots before going down. It can be equipped with countermeasures, and can glide for a very long time, extended with the gun camera function which holds the plane's altitude, even when the engines are off. Unlike the original Titan, the Titan 250 D has abysmal braking performance even with upgrades, meaning it will require quite a long runway to completely stop the plane after landing.
The Titan 250 D, like its original variant, has a cargo bay which players and many vehicles can enter. However, the entrance will be blocked by an invisible barrier if the plane is equipped with liveries or countermeasures, a glitch which is also found on the RM-10 Bombushka. Unlike the Bombushka however, the Titan 250 D does not have resistance to collision damage, meaning any vehicle stored within its cargo bay can vibrate and badly damage the plane, causing it to suffer engine damage and possibly even explode.
Weaponry[]
The Titan 250 D has three guns, all of which are positioned at the left side of the plane, requiring the pilot to position themselves to the right of their targets to hit them with the guns.[1]
- The 105mm cannon fires one missile which has a massive explosion radius of 20 meters, dealing 1000 damage to anything caught within 15m of the blast radius, and 100 damage to targets within the outer 5m radius. The missile has a travel distance of 500 meters, making it ideal for sniping grounded targets when combined with the damage output. However, it only has one shot and travel time as a projectile unlike the other two guns, and it takes 8 seconds to reload, forcing the gunner to be careful while aiming. Due to the nozzle's length, this gun cannot be used while the plane is grounded.
- The 40mm cannon fires explosive shots which have a small explosion radius of 2.5 meters, dealing 450 damage to anything caught within the center of the blast radius and 80 to those at the edge. The shots have a maximum distance of 300 meters. Five shots can be fired every half-second, making them quite useful both for sniping targets and taking out vehicles, but not the best at either task due to the shorter range. It has a 6 second reload time, which can be done both automatically when the ammunition is exhausted, and manually by pressing the reload button when the ammo is not full. This is the only gun that can be used by the pilot.
- The 25mm minigun cannon rapidly fires explosive shots which have a small explosion radius of 2 meters, dealing 250 damage to anything caught within the center of the blast radius and 50 to those at the edge, making it the only weapon to be incapable of killing a high level player with one shot. The shots have a maximum range of 300 meters. 30 shots are fired at a rate of 8 shots per second, making them ideal for taking out vehicles due to the shots' deceptively high damage in combination with the high clip capacity and fire rate. The 25mm cannon has a reload time of 4 seconds, which like the 40mm cannon can be done automatically or manually. This gun can only be used by gunners, but a solo player can use the gun by grounding the plane, then entering the back seat of the Titan 250 D by holding the "enter vehicle" button.
