The 3-axle variant of the Brute Tipper is a dump truck appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Influence[]
This variant of the Tipper appears to resemble a mix of 1970s heavy-duty dump trucks. The main body appears to be taken from the 1970–1974 Ford L-Series, with heavy influence from the 1965–1975 Mack R-Series, as seen in the headlights, flatter front fascia, air filter, greenhouse area and ,roof line. The front fenders and bumper appear to be taken from the 1978–1989 International S Series.
Design[]
The vehicle assumes the design of a triple-axle, 10-wheeled rig, having a squared nose, square-shaped grille and single circular headlights on the edges, as well as a cylindrical air filter on the right side. The rear end shares the same tail lights and features from the Biff.
The truck may spawn with or without dirt inside the tipper. The tipper bed itself is also considered an extra component, but is forced to spawn permanently.
In-game, the 3-axle Tipper lacks a manufacturer, both on the physical model (such as badges), and on the in-game HUD. This is in contrast to the smaller 2-axle Tipper, which, despite also lacking badges, is listed as a Brute vehicle on the HUD. This was reflected on the Rockstar Games Social Club up until 2019 when the site was revamped, and the two vehicle's listings were inadvertently switched, wherein the 3-axle Tipper is now listed as manufactured by Brute, and the smaller 2-axle Tipper lacks a manufacturer.
The truck cab is painted with the primary color, while the tipper compartment is painted with the secondary color, and shares the same industrial wheels from trucks like the Mule, the Benson and the Phantom. The vehicle is also fitted with a CB radio, and occasional trucker chatter can be heard regardless of whether the main radio is turned on or off. The chatter will only play if playing as Trevor and in Blaine County.
Performance[]
As anticipated, the vehicle's performance falls on the lower end of the spectrum, boasting a top speed that's below average. However, its compact size enables it to achieve notably quicker acceleration compared to larger trucks like the Mixers and the Biff. Thanks to its lower ride-height and overall body profile, it offers a smooth ride experience with minimal body sway, making it challenging to tip over. Nevertheless, the truck's petite stature does put it at a disadvantage when it comes to pushing other vehicles off the road, in contrast to its bulkier counterparts.
Like the smaller Tipper truck, the 3-axle variant is powered by an inline-4 engine fitted with a turbocharged, coupled to a 4-speed gearbox and powering the rear wheels. The engine sound is shared with trucks like the Phantom and the Rubble.

Oversights[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
- None of the vehicle's windows will break from the inside when shot using a weapon. This is due to the glass's collision not being double-sided.
- The rear half of the front fenders do not produce bullet holes when shot at. This is due to these parts of the model being on the
chassis
vehicle component;chassis
does not produce bullet holes. - The player can clip with the rear wheels if they manage to get underneath it. This is due to the rear wheels' collision not resembling the width of the dual wheel design itself. This also applies to the second generation Tipper and numerous other trucks of a similar design.
