The Star Plaza Hotel is a five star hotel featured in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

The hotel is located in Denver-Exeter Avenue in Star Junction, Algonquin right next to the Candy Box headquarters and the building housing the hotel is one of the many tall buildings in Algonquin.

In Grand Theft Auto IV and its its episodes, the hotel is not very important and otherwise inaccessible, however, in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, a suite in the hotel can be won from Scratch Cards and can be used as a Safehouse. The Star Plaza Hotel is based on Crowne Plaza Hotel.

If the player wins its suite from an I'm Rich scratch card, the hotel becomes accessible and will serve as a safehouse to the player.

Along with the introduction of drug dealing, every safehouse has a stash box in which the player can stash collected drugs to free up space in the holdall or prevent the drugs from being taken by the police when busted.

The whiteboard is used to replay previously completed story missions and to input cheats in the iPhone/iPod touch versions. The laptop is used to upload stats using Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection, viewable on the Rockstar Social Club.

The bed is used to save the game to restore the player's health, remove wanted levels, and advance the game by six hours. The door is used to exit the safehouse. Rewards in the form of objects can be seen placed on shelves and on tables for the player to view.

Unlike the other safehouses, the saving location is a bed as opposed to a couch or a chair.
