The Project Breakaway File is the finale for The Project Breakaway File, featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of Agents of Sabotage update.
Description[]
After completing all three preparation missions, The Project Breakaway File will be available for the player on the Darnell Inc. app. Upon starting the mission, the player must use the Trackify app on to locate the RC Bandito previously stashed in the back of Eberhard Security's Benson. It will give the exact location of the van parked at the Project Breakaway location.
Arriving at the location, the security will be immediately alerted and the alarm will release a nerve gas inside the facility. The player must eliminate the security guarding the Project Breakaway entrance. After that, Jodi tells the player that the RC Bandito is inside the facility and it can be used to shut down the nerve gas by using its self-destruct system to blow up the gas pumps.
by detonating the RC Bandito to extract the nerve agent inside Project Breakaway.The player must get remote control of the RC Bandito from outside the facility. While under control of the vehicle, they must locate the gas pumps in the room and detonate the RC Bandito in close range.
After the nerve gas is cleared out, the player is free to enter Project Breakaway. Inside the facility, guarded by Eberhard Security, the player must go to the computer, plug in the malware drive and hack the computer through a hacking minigame in order to transfer the malware into the computer terminal. More Eberhard Security guards will come into the facility to stop the player while the malware is uploading.
and hack the terminal to help Jodi access the data.Once the malware is uploaded, Jodi will have access to Project Breakaway data, including credit card information of an IAA director funding Project Breakaway. The player must use the thermal charges to melt the door lock to locate and retrieve the server blades and black books for the buyer.
Returning to the exterior, Jodi will give the location of the buyer. The player must escape Eberhard Security and deliver the drives to the buyer, completing the mission.
Bonus Reward[]
The player will receive an additional bonus reward of $50,000 for the completion of The Black Box File with the following requirements:
- Locate Project Breakaway in 5 minutes
- Get 15 headshots
- Recover Black Books and Server Blades
