Got the info out of an ex-employee who's running scared. And he should be. The latest name on their payment is some new player in the arms scene... Eberhard Munitions. A serious investment. But, as far as we're concerned, this is an easy target. If we funnel the money, nobody can come down on us without acknowledging its existence. Plus, any info we get on Eberhard is an asset we can sell to the highest bidder. All we need is to get through security, locate the servers, and cover our tracks.”

The Project Breakaway File is a mission strand for The FIB Files, featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of Agents of Sabotage update.

Description

After acquiring the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory, the mission strand can be started through the Darnell Inc. app whenever it is available to the player.

Jodi Marshall will inform the player about a secret slush fund known as Project Breakaway being covered by Maze Bank which is feeding every major body in the country, including her former employers at the FIB. The Eberhard weapons manufacturer company was recently included in the list of this secret group, and can be used as their way in to locate Project Breakaway and steal any valuable data of those involved, including the FIB and Eberhard, to the highest bidder.

The Project Breakaway File, like other FIB Files, consists of four Free Mode missions, including three preparation missions and one finale.

Helmsman reporting for duty, huh? What about thermal charges? I have seen them melt whole cargo hold of container ship, through definitely, absolutely no fault of my own. I heard about a batch recently landed. I'll send you the location of the depot.”
Encryption Bypass		Infiltrate apartment Seize malware	Jodi Marshall: “Alright. Here's what we know... if we can hit that server, we'll have access to the money and the data on this Eberhard Munitions group. What we don't know is how to break their encryption. I have an old colleague... FIB tech... he works on exactly the kind of malware we need to hack their system, funnel their funds, and purge our footprint. Sending you his location.”
