Oh yeah, goin' all the way back there, that was "The Ballad of Chapped Lips Calhoun" by the late Sideways Hank O'Mally and the Alabama Bottle Boys. And you know, that was so good, I'd reckon I'll play it again.
— The Fergus Buckner Show FM

The Fergus Buckner Show FM is a radio station featured in Grand Theft Auto. It consists of a single song, from the country music genre.

Description[]

The Fergus Buckner Show FM was a big factor in the explosion of popularity of the first GTA game, its exposure to the media and its word of mouth promotion. According to early GTA developer and sound executive Colin Anderson, "besides the title track I still have a particular soft spot for «The Ballad Of Chapped Lips Calhoun» because it earned us so many column inches in magazine reviews at the time for the sheer ridiculousness of including a country and western track in a computer game".[1]

The station's content consists solely of "The Ballad Of Chapped Lips Calhoun". After the song ends, DJ Fergus Buckner announces he likes the song so much, he's going to play it again, and the cycle repeats. According to the GTA Soundtrack disc, the station is sponsored by Rattler Creek tobacco chew, although the brand is never mentioned on the station or anywhere in the game.

It is the shortest station in GTA, but only the fifth shortest in the GTA series.
