The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid is a series of missions featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of The Chop Shop update, released on March 7th, 2024, during The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid Week event.
Description[]
The heist, played in a form of contact mission strand, focuses on the GTA Online Protagonist being contacted by the LSPD's newest recruit, Vincent Effenburger, in order to disrupt a major drug manufacturing and trafficking operation by a new Latin American cartel who recently arrived in San Andreas.
If you're interested, meet me at the police precinct by the Vespucci Canals.
Since then, I uh, unwillingly retired from my former post: head of security.
I'd like to offer you a lucrative, albeit unorthodox, opportunity to make some money and sabotage one of your long-standing adversaries...

If you're interested, meet me at the Vespucci Police Station.
In fact, these days I'm in a position to offer you a lucrative, although unorthodox, opportunity to make some money and sabotage one of your long-standing adversaries.
If you're interested, meet me at the Vespucci Police Station.
With the help of Vincent's intel, the player must get themselves the budget to pull off the heist by raiding corrupt cop-endorsed money laundering businesses and delivering it to Vincent's base of operations at a former off-the-books FIB facility inactive for over a decade, which will serve as the starting location for subsequent setup missions, once they are selected at the Vespucci Police Station.
The second task in the to-do list consists of stealing a laptop from a Cluckin' Bell employee containing up-to-date information on the cartel's operations, and raiding a heavily secured Terrorbyte owned by a major hacker in order to steal a hacking device. With the two items in hands, the player must acquire a Freight Train used by the cartel for deliveries at the Cluckin' Bell factory, which will serve as their way into the building.
The third and fourth task, played in any order, consists of stealing unmarked weapons, gear and a getaway vehicle from local gangs or private militia.
The final task determines the approach for the robbery depending on the player's choice. The player must track down the location of the Cluckin' Bell Cartel Garage by hacking the GPS of delivery vans leaving a Cluckin' Bell outlet. While inside the cartel garage, the player has two options:
- Silent Approach – Sabotaging delivery trucks, eliminating witnesses before the time limit and wiping the CCTV.
- Aggressive Approach – Blowing up trucks, letting witness escape or leaving the garage without wiping the CCTV.
To assure the player gets paid, Vincent sets up a deal with Miguel Madrazo, the heir of the local Madrazo Cartel criminal empire, to sell the stolen cocaine. Madrazo's personal fence Jorge will perform the exchange at the abandoned FIB facility once the cartel's loot is acquired and the cops are cleared out.[1] The final payment is a fixed value: $500,000 for the leader and $50,000 for each associate involved.
List of Missions[]
Mission | Description |
---|---|
Slush Fund |
“ I have an opportunity for you. Some unorthodox but profitable collaboration. I can't say more over text. But step one plays to your strengths: asset forfeiture.
|
Breaking and Entering |
“ Alright, now our operation is underway, we need to consider our moves. Preparation is key when it comes to infiltrating the Cluckin' Bell factory, so I need you to do some groundwork. You know how to drive a train, right?
|
Concealed Weapons |
“ The cartel will have an advantage over us unless we obtain the necessary weapons and gear. But this is no impulsive smash and grab. We must select our target carefully and keep our tracks covered.
|
Hit and Run |
“ Breaking into the Cluckin' Bell factory is one challenge, but getting out is a whole other conundrum. The bottom line is, we need a getaway vehicle, unconnected and untraceable. I trust you to make the right choice.
|
Disorganized Crime |
“ It is critical that our entry into the Cluckin' Bell factory goes as planned. To ensure this, we need to sabotage the cartel's supply lines. I've followed a line of investigation and I believe I know how we can achieve this. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later for being so assiduous.
|
Scene of the Crime |
Silent: “ This is your final assignment. It's time to take down the cartel-cop coalition. I have the crate ready for you to conceal yourself inside. They have no idea you're coming. I bet you didn't appreciate flexibility was such an important part of clandestine operations... Good luck. We'll speak on the other side.
Aggressive: “ This is your final assignment. It's time to take down the cartel-cop coalition. The train's waiting to take you to the factory. And remember, they know we're coming. so let's make sure we surpass all their expectations and fuck them up industriously.

Prior to release, the heist was briefly teased during the Salvage Yard Robberies and Drag Races introduced in the same update.
During the finale of The Gangbanger Robbery, one of the police computer passwords is "EFFENWHO" (Effen-who?), referencing Effenburger's fellow LSPD officers mocking his surname. Later in Drag Race - Playing Chicken, a Cluckin' Bell Benson (driven by a generic trucker) is briefly seen leaving the Clucking Bell Farms.
On February 22, 2024, during the Impaler SZ Week event, Vincent first contacted the player about the farm raid, weeks before its initiation.
Unfortunately, that is no longer the case, but I'm still hearing reports of your lethal brand of business acumen all across Los Santos. With that in mind, I'm working on a proposal for you.
I'm not ready to divulge too much yet, but expect to hear from me again soon.

Trivia[]
- The track featured in The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid trailer is "Idea V" by Holy Fuck, featured as part of the official score for the Bikers update.
- The introductory cutscene in Slush Fund shows a grown-up Jimmy De Santa purchasing drugs from Ahron Ward (noticeably older), in front of the Burger Shot.
- This is a recall to the mission Did Somebody Say Yoga? from Grand Theft Auto V, set over a decade prior to The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid.
- During the cutscene, Vincent mentions that Ahron has been using that spot for ten years to sell drugs, another nod to the current 10-year gap between the events of Grand Theft Auto V and the events of Grand Theft Auto Online occurred during the release of the heist.
- The cutscene also shows that Jimmy finally got himself his own car, a red Asbo. The vehicle was first introduced in The Diamond Casino Heist update, Jimmy's first appearance in Grand Theft Auto Online.
- In Slush Fund, Vincent will reveal that the lockup was originally an undercover off-the-books property for the FIB. This is a recall to Lester Crest's original Contact Mission "Hack and Dash", in which the lockup is seen functioning as an active FIB lockup in 2013.
- An unused unique pedestrian model with mocap acting is placed offscreen during the start of the cutscene. He is referred to as a "Jaywalker" in the game files.[2]
- His unfinished mocap animation cutting as soon as he tries to cross the road, alongside his unused dialogue icon[3], indicates that Vincent would make a comment about this person jaywalking, to which he would respond back.
- A weapons crate featuring an unofficial fanmade Marabunta Grande logo was intended to appear in Concealed Weapons. The gang itself never had any official logo. [4] It is left unused with the release of the mission strand, replaced by a generic wooden weapons crate.
- However, the item is listed as custom developer prop library, possibly intended for placeholder use only.
- Previously in the same update, an unofficial Los Santos seal was used in the textures for shipment crates present during The Gangbanger Robbery preparation mission Planning Work: Disrupt Equipment, presumably as an oversight. [5]
- The Marabunta Grande’s dark-blue Moonbeam Custom used in the raid is incorrectly depicted with a red color within the official artwork.
