The Cavern of Sorrow is a fictional role-playing game advertised on the radio in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It is a spoof of Dungeons & Dragons. During the commercial, an announcer says that Cavern of Sorrow "is not just a game but a secret society of special friends" and "Will you find the Cavern of Sorrow or will it find you?", in what seems to be a reference to the real danger of pedophiles talking to kids in online games.
In Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, there's an online version of the Cavern of Sorrow mentioned by one of the callers on the Electron Zone segment of LCFR, and said caller plays the game 12 hours a day and has a problem with the game where his avatars glitch out after a mission in Gash Canyon. Also, on the game's promotional website, ElectronZoneRadio.com, the last message sent by a Fruit OS user mentions Imooga about their Jiz drives that suck. He claims that he had five drives die on him when backing up his Cavern of Sorrow levels that he developed.[1]
In Grand Theft Auto IV, Felix Martinez on the support page of the website pinktorpedo.org wrote that his mother was playing The Cavern of Sorrow.
