A friend of mine is makin' a movie. He promised me a part if I supply some of the 'props' he needs.

Tequila Slammer - Phone 8: Mission 1 is a mission in Grand Theft Auto available during San Andreas Chapter 2: Tequila Slammer, given to the protagonist by El Burro. The mission is available from the fourth phone (from the left) in northeast Sailor's Wharf in San Andreas.

Description[]

The mission begins with El Burro telling the protagonist to go to the payphone in southeast Potato (although the dialogue says Marina). Upon answering the phone, El Burro reveals that a friend of his is making a movie and promised him a part if he could provide certain "props". The first prop turns out to be an Ambulance (one of which can be found parked at the hospital in south Glen Wood) which needs to be taken to a garage in central Glen Wood. Because it is a disaster movie, the next prop required is a Fire Truck which can be acquired by continually blowing cars up until one arrives on the scene; moreover, one spawns in east Sunview near the Sunview Police and Fire Station during the mission. Once stolen, it too needs to be taken to the garage in Glen Wood. The third prop required is a Juggernaut which, again, needs to be taken to the garage in Glen Wood (Juggernauts can usually be found on three or four lane highways). The fourth and final prop required is a Squad Car which, once stolen, must be taken to the garage to complete the mission.

Though the pager does not show the time left, there is a time limit of 640 seconds. If the player takes too long to collect the vehicles, the mission will fail. When half time has elapsed, the boss asks the protagonist to hurry.

Reward[]

The player will be awarded 40,000 points and a +1 score multiplier for completing the mission.
