Flares is a task for The Cargo Ship Robbery, featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Chop Shop update.
Description[]
The mission is started at a random location around San Andreas marked with a "Robbery Task" icon on the radar.
Jamal tasks the player to collect flares to be used to mark the shipping container for the pilot to pick it up during the robbery. He tells the player to collect them from the nearby location (Elysian Island/Lifeguard Stations in Vespucci Beach).
After leaving the area with the flares, the player must lose the wanted level or escape the pursuing lifeguards and deliver the flares required for the robbery to the Salvage Yard.
