Target images[]

Can we get some better ones for those with the camera, grainy effect on? They look poor for use in the article.FireDrake85 (talk) 10:09, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

It's a mixed answer. We can get better, high resolution images by taking screenshots of our own game. However, as the panther statue hasn't been released yet, we can't take a screenshot of it that matches the theme of the grainy effect. We can either take screenshots of the grainy effect image or the ingame loot in the finale. Javgarag (talk) 10:14, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

Better images should replace those, but there is no need to put any filters on. I'm in favour of just getting an image through the R* Editor during the finale. Matrexpingvin (talk) 11:56, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
Alright, I added better quality images but I'm missing the madrazo files as I already completed the heist. If anyone has yet to complete their first heist, please take a screenshot or use R* editor of that! Javgarag (talk) 20:08, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

Secondary targets[]

Value of secondary targets may differ on different heists. I remember having 330k, 333k, 390k per gold stash in different heists. You should probably include safe money from the safe upstairs in the office as one of the secondary targets.

Loot value is esentially random, yes. Also, I've taken some screenshots about secondary targets locations so I hope to add them soon. Javgarag (talk) 22:55, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

Has difficulty been buffed?[]

I have done the Heist multiple times. My preferred method is to go to the hangar at the airport for the first secondary target pick-ups. I have done this multiple times and have worked out the timing of guards, the arrival of the patrol vehicle, etc. This week for the first time I'm being spotted by the walking guard while I am at the cage picking up the loot. I have never been spotted in there before and no I was not playing on hard difficulty, just general. (And I'm not a newbie player 300+ level and maxed stats, etc.)

Has the difficulty been buffed on the Finale? Since there's been a lot of publicity about Cayo Perico being a money sink, especially for solo players, it wouldn't surprise me if the powers that be quietly made it more difficult. I'm posting here because if that is the case then the Finale article may need an update. 23skidoo (talk) 18:59, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Armor glitch and harmless(?) mines[]

Two aspects of the finale that I'm not sure are "universal" - but if they are, might be worth noting here:

  • Every time I complete the Heist, and after the finale cutscene plays, I and my team mates are left without equipped armor, even if we completed the heist with full armor and without taking damage. I assume this is a glitch but I don't know if it's a widespread one. (Technically, if you want to be really nitpicky, this reduces the total take by how much it costs to replace that piece of armor.)
  • I've seen a couple of Youtube videos suggesting that the underwater mines encountered offshore are purely cosmetic and are actually harmless to players - perhaps intended to give a rationale for the sub not to be parked immediately nearby? Is this true? I'm hesitant to test this one out in a live playthrough! 23skidoo (talk) 14:07, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Confirmed buff added[]

Earlier I left a note asking if difficulty had been buffed. That was speculation, but the mid-August 2021 update that buffed the juggernaut in the compound has been confirmed by multiple GTA players on forums, YouTube, etc., and I can attest that a simple bullet to the head is no longer enough to knock him down, and the Armor heist prep makes no difference, so I added this to the Trivia section. 23skidoo (talk) 21:13, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
