Game mode influence
Should it be pointed out what this game mode is based off of? like rugby or american football or something? CryoDragon95 (talk) 15:50, November 24, 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, absolutely, but be clear, it is "Based On", not "Based Off or Based Off of". Also, please remember to sign your messages at all times. Monk Talk 15:51, November 24, 2015 (UTC)
- There have been a number of YouTubers play a rudmitary version of this game mode, even when GTA V was "only" available on PS3 and 360. That, and I think Top Gear car football could have had some form of influence on the implementation of this game mode. In my opinion, anyway.Ward1706 (talk) 15:58, November 24, 2015 (UTC)
- "Based off of" is UK English, "Based on" is American conversational English, so either is fine. Also, i signed my message the second after i submitted it so no harm done. I am not going to add anything on what the influences for the game mode is, so it's up to you guys. CryoDragon95 (talk) 16:00, November 24, 2015 (UTC)
- Even though portions of the game are made with R* North who are UK based? I would have thought that either are fine. The wiki is only accepting American english only then? Also, I hear alternate versions of anything like that in general vocabulary, and i'm english as well. Let's not go into it here, it's unrelated to the page.
