I am suggesting that this should be moved to an article named DGSE, which corresponds to a french SWAT as they are the counter-terrorist units here (yes, I am french). - Hi Spaceeinstein. The GIGN are the SWAT officers that ambush Tommy in The Mall Shootout and DGSE are the ones that attack him and Cortez on the yacht. Both operations were militant in nature, mounted in broad daylight and were both very public. There's no way the French government would have got away with this or even tried.
