Drop requirements?[]
I've never seen a drop when playing solo/invite only with friends. Any speculation or facts even on what is exactly required for drops to occur? Amount of players, maybe? Jarppi (talk) 15:49, February 14, 2014 (UTC)

Rockstar basically patched this so crate drops will never appear on Solo, Invite Only, or in an empty public room. Sadly, the users are oblivious to the fact that it was patched as to make crate drops exclusively on public servers with a large number of players present. New locations for crate drops .[]
Just to let you know there are 4 or 5 locations for crate drops are handled by tuneables .
Tuneables is a file saved on R* cloud can be used to edit general settings such as Cash/RP multiplier ..etc
They always use it for events .
Special Crate Drops List after Festive Surprise?[]
It seems like you still only get 1 Item/day, for example on the 9th of January I got the Vivisection T-Shirt in both crates. Should that be added to the article?

The Happiness Island shirt is a T-Shirt in the Special Tops category
It uses the same model as all other t-shirts and does not have sleeves. It's not a sweater
