Take-Two Interactive is an American publisher, developer, and distributor of video and computer games and video game peripherals. Take-Two owns Rockstar Games, the developers of Grand Theft Auto series. Take-Two also owns 2K Games. In early 2008, EA attempted to purchase Take-Two Interactive for $2 Billion. Take-Two stated that EA was taking advantage of the deal because they were going to release Grand Theft Auto IV in a few weeks. In the end, Take-Two Interactive turned the deal down.
