Take-Two Interactive is an American video game holding company based in New York City founded by Ryan Brant in September 1993.
The company owns two major publishing labels, Rockstar Games and 2K Games, which operate internal game development studios.

- Former Take-Two Interactive CEO Kelly Sumner appears as an Easter egg playable character "Kelly" in the Game Boy Color port of Grand Theft Auto.
- By renaming his default name to "Sumner", the player unlocks several playable characters based on the Tarantula Studios team involved in the development of the port.
- In early 2008, EA attempted to purchase Take-Two Interactive for $2 billion. Take-Two stated that EA was taking advantage of the deal because they were going to release Grand Theft Auto IV in a few weeks. In the end, Take-Two Interactive turned the deal down.
