||
+ | The tank appears to be based on the Polish PL-01 light tank, as evident by its overall shape and purpose. The tank also takes design cues from and is partially based on the Combat Vehicle 90 infantry fighting vehicle, more specifically the https://fighting-vehicles.com/cv90120-t-ghost/ concept. This is reflected in-game, with the honeycomb pattern on the side, headlights, and space in the rear for passengers. |
||
+ | |||
+ | The Railgun modification seems to be taken directly from the modified BMP-1 "marvelcinematicuniverse" from the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. |

+ | The Khanjali is depicted as a modern light tank with a similar build to the Rhino Tank, but using what appears to be a stealth body. The front of the hull uses various modern lamps on the centre and on the edges, while the top area assumes a wedge-shaped profile with access hatches for the driver and a front occupant. The sides have various armour panellings covering most of the tracks, with the rearmost ones having "TM-02 Khanjali" markings. The rear end has vertical modern lamps and vented sections on the outer sides, while the centre has two access doors for the rear occupants. The turret has a sighting unit on the right-hand side, four radar compartments and what appear to be four sensors on each "quarters" of the turret. |
||
− | The tank appears to be based on the PL-01, a Polish light tank jointly developed by OBRUM and BAE Systems. |
||
+ | Unlike the Rhino, the Khanjali features fully-rendered interiors; the front compartments have several instruments and display screens derived from vehicles like the FH-1 Hunter and the Akula (though with no dials mapped on these due to the turret-perspective view), while the rear section has seats and textures similar to the back section of the Titan and contains two wall-mounted Railguns for decoration, as well as two electronic periscopes with control sticks on them. |
||
− | The tank features what appears to be stealth bodywork, two hull hatches used by the driver and a front occupant and two rear doors used by the rear occupants. The rear section has "TM-02 Khanjali" written on either side, emulating the "PL-01 concept" writing from the real-life inspiration. The sides feature armor panels that can be detached from the tank when hit by an explosion, which only reveal black portions of it. There are four upper panel, including the triangular-shaped one on each front quarter, and a single lower one, directly below these four. The turret features four radar compartments, a camera on the right and what appear to be four sensors on each "quarters" of the turret. |
||
− | The |
+ | The Khanjali features a wide array of colour combinations: the primary one is applied on the entirety of the hull and the turret, while the secondary one is applied on the side armor panellings and the aforementioned radar compartments. A turret/tertiary colour is also available for the handles of the front hatches and the mountings of the remote weapons. It uses two continuous tracks that are identical to the ones from the Rhino Tank. Although not accessible, the dial colour is applied on the markings of the "Railgun Cannon" option, which is set to white on purchased examples. |
+ | The vehicle is equipped with a tank cannon and a remote machine gun turret resembling a M2 Browning. It can be also modified to have two remote grenade launchers (which seem to be based on the concept weapons depicted in the real-life iteration), while the main cannon can be replaced with a Coil railgun cannon with similar features to the hand-held version, albeit having seven large coils. |
||
− | Unlike the Rhino, the Khanjali features a detailed interior with several instruments, which seem to take elements from military-oriented aircraft. It has green screens and electronic devices for the front occupants, which are actually the same as those from the FH-1 Hunter and the Akula, but since the vehicle only allows a turret-perspective view, dials are not mapped onto these. The rear interior has details similar to the back section of the Titan and contains two wall-mounted Railguns for decoration, as well as two electronic periscopes with control sticks on them. |

− | The Khanjali performs, as can be expected, of that of a tank. It moves slow like the Rhino Tank, but seems to have a slightly faster speed than it. It has great off-road capabilities due to its traction and appears to be slightly more nimble than the Rhino in terms of quick turns. |

It has great off-road capabilities due to its traction and appears to be slightly more nimble than the Rhino in terms of quick turns. Performance upgrades can also improve the overall handling of the tank, as it can accelerate faster. |
+ | The tank is powered by two diesel engines, and the engine sound is the same as the ones from the Phantom Custom and the Hauler Custom. |
||
− | ;Armor |
||
− | The Khanjali has the same durability as the Rhino when it is not customized. However, the upgrades on the Khanjali can prove to be extremely beneficial to the player, allowing the Khanjali to survive nearly twice the amount of explosives than the Rhino. One large advantage of the Khanjali over the Rhino is that it can reliably crush and drive over cars without them exploding due to the lighter weight, which won't cause self damage and allow the Khanjali to be used without having to worry about explosions from other cars crushed under the tank. |
||
+ | ====Armour/Defense==== |
||
− | Overall, the Khanjali is a powerful force to be reckoned with, one that will be able to bring great devastation to on-foot targets and unarmored vehicles when fully upgraded, especially if the vehicle is fully occupied. |
||
+ | The Khanjali has the same durability as the Rhino in stock form. However, armour upgrades can prove to be extremely beneficial for the vehicle, allowing it to survive nearly twice the amount of explosives than the Rhino. ||
+ | With 100% Armor upgrade, the Khanjali can take one of the following: |
||
− | ;Weaponry |
||
− | In terms of weaponry, the Khanjali has a total of three different weapons, each one being utilized by a different occupant within the tank: |
||
+ | * 19 Explosive rounds from the Heavy Sniper Mk II or Pump Shotgun Mk II. |
||
− | *Its primary armament by default is a tank cannon, which is similar to the cannon found on the Rhino, but has slightly lower elevation angle (~35 degrees), making it difficult to fire at aircraft. It can be upgraded into a heavy railgun cannon, which can be charged to shoot a projectile much faster and farther than the standard one, as a successful railgun cannon charge requires at least one second, which increases the launch speed of the projectile by 19.9%, and also roughly doubles its effective range. This weapon is utilized by the driver. |
||
+ | * 16 Railgun rounds. |
||
− | *The front seat passenger has access to an automatic M2 Browning on the top of the Khanjali, which can be used to a great extent if dealing with multiple enemies at the same time and the height will provide good coverage and elevation, able to sort out low-flying aircraft. It performs similarly to most mounted machine guns found in other vehicles, such as the Insurgent Pick-Up. |
||
+ | * 7 RPGs, Homing missiles, MOC turret shots, Avenger turret shots or tank shells. |
||
− | *Optionally, it can be modified to feature two remote grenade launchers, which can be operated by either back seat passenger to provide explosive firepower, at the cost of having limited effective range and fire rate (as with other vehicle-mounted grenade launchers). They have a limited capacity of 30 grenades per launcher. The rounds seems to have a similar behaviour to the Pipe Bomb, in that the rounds explode half a second after touching the ground. |
||
+ | * 6 Terrorbyte Missiles. |
||
+ | * 5 Sticky Bombs. |
||
+ | * 1 Flak Cannon round from the Anti-Aircraft Trailer. |
||
+ | |||
+ | Again, like the Rhino Tank, the occupants are fully protected while inside the vehicle, but they will still get damaged by firearms from very specific angles. |
||
+ | |||
+ | ====Weaponry==== |
||
+ | The Khanjali has access to a variety of weapons that are assigned to each occupants, making it a devastating vehicle when fully occupied. The main weapons have a fixed explosive damage of 3000, which is equivalent to six homing missiles in the blast radius. However, they inflict less damage to tanks and helicopters, and have a lower elevation range of between -10 and 20 degrees, making it difficult to fire at aircraft. |
||
+ | *Tank Cannon: Its primary armament by default is a standard tank cannon operated by the driver, which performs similarly to the one found in the Rhino Tank, with its shells having a range of 190 meters/623 feet before they self-destruct in half of a second, and a speed of 380 m/s (1,368 km/h). Its sound is primarily identical to the Rhino's, but the sound of the propellant gases is more noticeable. |
||
+ | *Railgun Cannon: The vehicle can be upgraded with a heavy Railgun cannon, which can be charged to shoot a projectile faster and farther than the standard one. Uncharged shots are fired at 485.7 m/s (1748.6 km/h), and their range is 170 meters/558 feet. A successful railgun cannon charge requires at least one second, which increases the launch speed of the projectile to 571.4 m/s (2057.1 km/h), and also increases its range to 200 meters/656 feet. Projectiles fired by the railgun cannon lasts shorter than those from the standard tank cannon, as they have a lifetime of 0.35 seconds before they self-destruct. The weapon produces a more electric sound upon charging the rails, and causes a stronger variation of the Railgun's firing sound. Again, it is operated by the driver. |
||
+ | *Machine Gun: The front seat passenger has access to a remote machine gun on top of the tank's turret, which performs similarly to most mounted machine guns found in vehicles like the Insurgent Pick-Up, having a base damage of 175, a fire rate of about 410 rounds per minute and a range of 500 meters/1640 feet. It has an elevation range of between -20 and 30 degrees, making it an ideal choice against low-flying aircraft. |
||
+ | *Grenade Launcher: The vehicle can be modified with two remote grenade launchers operated by the rear passengers, which provide greater firepower against armored targets and a greater range of about 150 meters/492 feet, at the cost of having limited fire rate (30 rounds per minute) and ammo (30 rounds). The rounds will explode half a second after hitting the ground, similar to Pipe Bombs and the grenade launchers available on the Dune FAV and the Barrage. When holding down the button to switch weapons, the grenade launcher is set to an "auto-targeting" mode, where it tracks any nearby NPC or vehicle up to a distance of about 140 meters/459 feet and within a 90-degree coverage, relative to the launcher's front (meaning any target past 45 degrees from the side will simply be ignored). However, the launchers have a tendency to fire at the last position of the target rather than predicting where the target will go, and they do not seem to adjust their angle for targets at longer distances, resulting in a lower effective range of around 60 meters/197 feet. In first person, they seem to have a slightly higher elevation angle, able to hit most low-flying aircraft when adjusting the trajectory arc properly. |

Please note: This vehicle must be stored in a personal facility and can be modified at the Facility Vehicle Workshop.
The TM-02 Khanjali is a light tank and infantry fighting vehicle featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Doomsday Heist update.
Influence
Grand Theft Auto Online
The tank appears to be based on the Polish PL-01 light tank, as evident by its overall shape and purpose. The tank also takes design cues from and is partially based on the BAE Systems CV90 infantry fighting vehicle, more specifically the CV90120-T Ghost concept. This is reflected in-game, with the honeycomb pattern on the side, headlights, and space in the rear for passengers.
The Railgun modification seems to be taken directly from the modified BMP-1 "HYDRA Tank" from the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Design
Grand Theft Auto Online
The Khanjali is depicted as a modern light tank with a similar build to the Rhino Tank, but using what appears to be a stealth body.
Unlike the Rhino, the Khanjali features fully-rendered interiors; the front compartments have several instruments and display screens derived from vehicles like the FH-1 Hunter and the Akula (though with no dials mapped on these due to the turret-perspective view), while the rear section has seats and textures similar to the back section of the Titan and contains two wall-mounted Railguns for decoration, as well as two electronic periscopes with control sticks on them.
The Khanjali features a wide array of colour combinations: the primary one is applied on the entirety of the hull and the turret, while the secondary one is applied on the side armor panellings and the aforementioned radar compartments.
The vehicle is equipped with a tank cannon and a remote machine gun turret resembling a Browning M2HB .50 caliber machine gun. It can be also modified to have two remote grenade launchers (which seem to be based on the concept weapons depicted in the real-life iteration), while the main cannon can be replaced with a Coil railgun cannon with similar features to the hand-held version, albeit having seven large coils.

Performance
Grand Theft Auto Online
Vehicle
The Khanjali performs, as can be expected, of that of a tank. It moves slow like the Rhino Tank, but seems to have a slightly faster speed than it. It has great off-road capabilities due to its traction and appears to be slightly more nimble than the Rhino in terms of quick turns. Performance upgrades can also improve the overall handling of the tank, as it can accelerate faster.
The tank is powered by two diesel engines, and the engine sound is the same as the ones from the Phantom Custom and the Hauler Custom.
Armour/Defense
The Khanjali has the same durability as the Rhino in stock form. However, armour upgrades can prove to be extremely beneficial for the vehicle, allowing it to survive nearly twice the amount of explosives than the Rhino. One large advantage of the Khanjali over the Rhino is that it can reliably crush and drive over cars without them exploding due to the lighter weight, which won't cause self damage and allow the Khanjali to be used without having to worry about explosions from other cars crushed under the tank.
With 100% Armor upgrade, the Khanjali can take one of the following:
- 19 Explosive rounds from the Heavy Sniper Mk II or Pump Shotgun Mk II.
- 16 Railgun rounds.
- 7 RPGs, Homing missiles, MOC turret shots, Avenger turret shots or tank shells.
- 6 Terrorbyte Missiles.
- 5 Sticky Bombs.
- 1 Flak Cannon round from the Anti-Aircraft Trailer.
Again, like the Rhino Tank, the occupants are fully protected while inside the vehicle, but they will still get damaged by firearms from very specific angles.
Weaponry
The Khanjali has access to a variety of weapons that are assigned to each occupants, making it a devastating vehicle when fully occupied. The main weapons have a fixed explosive damage of 3000, which is equivalent to six homing missiles in the blast radius. However, they inflict less damage to tanks and helicopters, and have a lower elevation range of between -10 and 20 degrees, making it difficult to fire at aircraft.
- Tank Cannon: Its primary armament by default is a standard tank cannon operated by the driver, which performs similarly to the one found in the Rhino Tank, with its shells having a range of 190 meters/623 feet before they self-destruct in half of a second, and a speed of 380 m/s (1,368 km/h). Its sound is primarily identical to the Rhino's, but the sound of the propellant gases is more noticeable.
- Railgun Cannon: The vehicle can be upgraded with a heavy Railgun cannon, which can be charged to shoot a projectile faster and farther than the standard one.
- Machine Gun: The front seat passenger has access to a remote machine gun on top of the tank's turret, which performs similarly to most mounted machine guns found in vehicles like the Insurgent Pick-Up, having a base damage of 175, a fire rate of about 410 rounds per minute and a range of 500 meters/1640 feet. It has an elevation range of between -20 and 30 degrees, making it an ideal choice against low-flying aircraft.
- Grenade Launcher: The vehicle can be modified with two remote grenade launchers operated by the rear passengers, which provide greater firepower against armored targets and a greater range of about 150 meters/492 feet, at the cost of having limited fire rate (30 rounds per minute) and ammo (30 rounds).
- The vehicle has the option for installing Proximity Mines, which behave the same as any remote explosive and are operated by the driver. These mines are a bit stronger than their hand-held counterparts and are also limited to five active mines. Caution should be taken when using it, as it can potentially damage or destroy the vehicle.
