The Buckingham SuperVolito is a helicopter appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The SuperVolito was added as part of the Executives and Other Criminals update.
Grand Theft Auto VI[]
The SuperVolito can briefly be seen flying in the skies above Vice Beach, Vice-Dale County, in the first trailer (0:22).
In comparison to its GTA Online appearance, the cockpit color scheme has been inverted, so that the carbon elements are now painted, while the painted elements appear to be either carbon or defined by a third color.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The SuperVolito takes a large amount of inspiration from the Eurocopter EC145, especially in the rear quarter, tail boom, rear stabilisers and fins.
The SuperVolito is depicted as a luxury vehicle with a relatively small fuselage, having a triangular-shaped cockpit with large windows and the corresponding access doors. On the middle section, the fuselage is mostly predominated by CFRP finish around, also featuring sliding doors, large skids with long steps and a tall engine compartment with black slatted intakes and circular exhausts on either side. The tail boom is relatively short and features vertical fins on the horizontal stabilisers similar to the Valkyrie, as well as a small angled vertical stabilizer with the corresponding tail rotor. Various markings can be seen around the fuselage, displaying the manufacturer name.
The cockpit of the aircraft features a small instrument panel with the same "Flyer" dials from many basic aircraft, such as the Maverick and the Police Maverick, and shares the same layout. Similar to the Swift Deluxe, the interior is fitted with luxury equipment, such as a TV screen, surround sound, tan leather seating and a coffee machine. Passengers can drink champagne and browse the internet within the helicopter, instead of using the Mobile Phone. Similar to the Deluxe vehicles, the player can also hold down "Enter Vehicle" button to enter the rear compartment.
The primary colour of the vehicle is applied on the engine compartment, part of the rear of the fuselage, the main rotor assembly and the inner trims of the doors, while the secondary colour is applied on most of the aircraft's front and sides, tail boom and skids.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The SuperVolito is generally agile and handles very well. Although not as versatile as the Buzzard, it has good handling compared to other larger helicopters like the Swift, and the skids offer general stability on landings. However, like any aircraft, it is susceptible to gunfire and the large windows render the occupants vulnerable to bullets.
The aircraft is powered by twin turboshaft engines, evidenced by the dual intakes and exhausts above. It shares a similar sound to most aircraft, especially the Maverick due to the slow pacing sound from the rotor blades.

Prominent Appearances in Gameplay[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- A white SuperVolito appears as the second Dignitary's air transport in the third Mobile Operations mission Exit Strategy.
- A SuperVolito may appear in the Casino Work mission Severance.
- Several SuperVolitos must be destroyed in the optional Diamond Casino Heist prep mission Heist Prep: Duggan Shipments.
- Used by attacking enemies in the Glass Heroes Survival and the Vespucci Canals Survival.
Locations[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- Can be purchased from ElitƔs Travel for $2,113,000.
- It is classed as a Small vehicle when stored in a hangar.
- Can be requested as a VIP/CEO Vehicle for $10,000 (or free if owned). It will always spawn with a matte black and dark red finish.
- When playing as CEO, the player can request a SuperVolito to pick them up through Securoserv for $5,000 with the Luxury Helicopter ability, which might spawn a Volatus instead. It is similar to the Merryweather Helicopter pickup service, but can also instantly travel to any of the player-owned Special Cargo warehouses, Import/Export warehouses, or office.
- May appear as a vehicle the player can use to chase the croupier in the Casino Work mission "Severance". Provided the mission is still active, it won't despawn even if the player kills the croupier before he reaches his getaway vehicle, so one can still get the helicopter from its corresponding location (by dealing with the guards first) and taking it to deliver the bag. After completing the mission, the SuperVolito will be there. It cannot be stored in a hangar, though.
Trivia[]
General[]
- Volito is a Latin term related to the word "fly" or "hover", referencing the capabilities of a helicopter.
- SuperVolito may be a reference to the slang "superfly", which means an ostentatious, self-confident person, especially a black drug dealer.
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- The description of being "Originally designed for alpine rescue and humanitarian relief" refers to the most common usage of the EC145 (the real-life iteration of the SuperVolito) as a rescue helicopter, as well as other non-civilian duties. The fact they "gutted all the 'functional' components" suggests it was originally a helicopter purposed for an unspecified duty.
- The player is automatically placed out of passive mode upon entering this vehicle, similar to the Luxor Deluxe and the Swift Deluxe.
- When converted into a personal aircraft, the window tint is removed. The same applies to its Carbon variant and the Volatus.
