Country Pursuits is a Street Race featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Los Santos Tuners update. It is available for 2 to 8 players.
Description[]
The race is a 26 checkpoint long Lap race. Secondary routes are located between checkpoints 4–7, 19–22, and 22–24.
The starting grid is positioned on Procopio Drive, facing south-west. When the race starts, the players continue down this road, after which they turn left onto Paleto Boulevard at checkpoint 3. The racers continue north and then turn right onto Pyrite Avenue, at the end of which they turn right and briefly continue south down the Great Ocean Highway. Alternatively, the players can utilise a shortcut by turning into Red's Machine Supplies from Paleto Boulevard and then coming straight onto the highway, omitting the drive down Pyrite Avenue.
At the next checkpoint, they already turn off the highway and continue on Duluoz Avenue, before turning left onto Paleto Boulevard at the following junction. The next stretch of road is shared with a previous section of the circuit, so racers may have to watch out for other, oncoming players. The route continues to the end of this boulevard, after which the players have to turn back onto the highway at checkpoint 10. Part of the highway route that follows is yet again shared with another part of the route.
At checkpoint 14, the players turn into the Clucking Bell Farms, where they race around the back of a building and through the car park in front, before coming back onto the highway at checkpoint 19. Here, they can choose between the normal route and another shortcut. The traditional route leads them onto Procopio Drive and then down Paleto Boulevard once they turn left at a junction. If players opt for the shortcut, they drive through the construction site in the north of Paleto Bay and then continue on Paleto Boulevard. Immediately afterwards, another shortcut allows the players to turn right, drive through the car park of Willie's Supermarket, and then jump down onto Procopio Drive. Racers not making use of this shortcut continue slightly further down Paleto Boulevard until checkpoint 23, when they turn right onto Cascabel Avenue.
At the end of this road, these racers turn left onto Procopio Drive, merging with those who used the shortcut, coming from further up the road. All racers then continue south-west until reaching the start/finish line.
