For the original feature in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, see Drug Dealers and Drug Dealing system.
Not to be confused with the Crack Dealers in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The Street Dealers are characters in Grand Theft Auto Online, added as part of the continuation of the Los Santos Drug Wars update released during Eclipse Blvd Garage Week on February 16, 2023.
Description[]
Three random NPC gang member dealers will spawn daily in three different locations. When the player gets within 200 meters of a location, they will appear marked on their map . They appear on the radar regardless if the player owns the businesses, if their businesses are closed, or don't have enough product to sell.
The dealers are invincible and non-responsive to any aggressive act. While talking to a dealer, players enter a ghosted semi-Passive Mode and will not be able to be damaged by other players.
Players can talk to each dealer who will offer to buy their Drugs stock produced by Motorcycle Clubs, Nightclub techs and Acid Lab if the player owns any of them. In order to sell a product, it is necessary to have the related business with the set-up done, open and working. In the case of Nightclubs, a technician does not need to be currently assigned if the stock level is already full, either from previously assigned technicians or Business Battles and Stash Houses rewards.
Each day, each of the dealers will offer a premium price on one type of drug, but the player can sell all four types to them if they choose. See #Profits for information on sell values.
When selling a product that is accepted in more than one unit, the player has the option of selling one unit at a time or the maximum number of units that will be accepted at once. If less than the maximum number has already been sold to that particular dealer that day, choosing to sell the maximum number of units will sell the rest of the units that were not already sold, to which the tooltips will specify how many units have not yet been sold to the dealer for the day.
Selling to dealers will not achieve any Daily Challenges that require a specific product to be sold.
Earnings from Street Dealers will not be archived on the The Open Road.
If a player has sold the maximum quantity of all four drug types to a dealer, their map icon will turn gray .
The dealers can be:
- Vagos
- Aztecas
- Rednecks
- Hippies
- Ballas
- Armenian Mob
- The Lost MC
- The Families
- Kkangpae
- Street Racers
- Street Punks
- Madrazo Cartel
- Los Santos Triads
The drug selling system is a replica of the Drug Dealing feature from Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. In both games, it is inspired by the 1984 DOS game Drug Wars.
Locations[]
There are 50 possible spawn locations for the dealers.
The dealers will change locations every day at 07:00 UTC, starting from February 16th, 2023.

Profits[]
Each product has a range of sale prices per unit. Each dealer will offer a random price within that range.
Product | Minimum | Maximum | Average | Units | Average Total* |
Premium probability |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Cocaine ! | $19,000 | $21,000 | $20,000 | 1 | $20,000 | 15% |
Meth ! | $8,250 | $9,250 | $8,750 | 2 | $17,500 | 20% |
Weed ! | $1,400 | $1,600 | $1,500 | 10 | $15,000 | 30% |
Acid | $1,385 | $1,585 | $1,485 | 10 | $14,850 | 35% |
- * Any product being sold at "premium" rate will pay double this value.
- Lower value product has a higher probability of attracting the "premium" rate than higher value product.
- ! Street Dealer prices for MC Club product are based on the pre-buffed values (raised by 25% in The Criminal Enterprises update), so unless the product is sold at the premium rate, it will attract a lower price than a product sale mission, reflecting the easier and more convenient sale method.
The total maximum theoretical price if selling all product to a dealer ranges from $87,200 (Acid doubled) to $92,350 (Cocaine doubled).
