Stockyard is a neighborhood located in Vice City, Vice-Dale County, Leonida, that is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description[]
Stockyard's first official mention is on a highway sign in the first trailer of GTA VI.[1] The next scene in the trailer shows an art district that is implied, but not directly stated, to be Stockyard. More concrete evidence that this district is Stockyard can be seen in the Grand Theft Auto VI September 2022 leaks, seen in the HUD as a car travels towards the district.[2]
Influence[]
The neighborhood appears to be based on the Wynwood Art District in Miami, Florida. The name references Wynwood's original purpose of being a working-class warehouse district surrounded by railroad tracks up until the early 2000s.[3]
