Description[]
The Steinway Beer Garden is a classic Irish drinking pub located on Yorktown Avenue. Niko Bellic can take his friends or girlfriends out there for a game of darts or for a drink. It appears to be a destination of choice for Roman Bellic and Patrick McReary. The bar advertises various alcoholic beverages such as Birra Puttana, Dusche Gold, Blarneys Stout, Stronzo and Pißwasser. There is a community hall adjacent to the bar on the corner of Morris Street and Yorktown Avenue.
The building is almost identical to the Lucky Winkles pub in Purgatory, Algonquin. Both locations allow the player to play darts and, incidentally, both have a portrait of Derrick McReary hanging inside.
Influence[]
The bar is based on the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden located at 29-19 24th Avenue located in Astoria, New York.
