Not to be confused with Deal Steal, a mission in Grand Theft Auto III.
Steal the Deal is the first mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories given to protagonist Victor Vance by drug baron Ricardo Diaz from his mansion on Starfish Island, Vice City.
Mission[]
Diaz has been aware of a deal Gonzalez has and wants the Vance brothers, Lance and Victor, to steal the shipment. After a short talk, the Vance's leave Diaz's Mansion and head over to the The Pole Position Club in Ocean Beach. As Lance suggested, one of Gonzalez' goons comes out of the strip club and gets in a Cheetah parked there and they follow him. The goon leaves the car at Vice Point and heads for a Jetski. Victor takes another Jetski there and follows the goon again. After a chase the goon stops at the stilt houses in Ocean Bay, where other goons and boats are. Victor makes his way there, killing all the witnesses and steals the Jetmax where the drugs are and takes them to back to Diaz.
Mission Objectives[]
In order to complete the mission the player must:
- Stakeout the Strip Club.
- Follow Gonzalez's goon.
- He's left the car. Keep on him.
- Get on that Jetski and keep following Gonzalez's goon.
- Follow Gonzalez's goon.
- Get closer or you'll lose Gonzalez's goon.
- This must be the place.
- The product is stashed in that boat.
- Watch out for the sentries.
- Get into that boat.
- Take the boat back to Diaz.
Reward[]
The reward for completing this mission is $1,500 and the mission The Exchange is unlocked.
