The Staunton View Picnic Area or simply Staunton View is a seaside park located in the suburb of Wichita Gardens at Shoreside Vale, Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
Description
Staunton View Picnic Area is located on the east side of Wichita Gardens coast, south of Cedar Grove. Staunton View is one of the few quiet areas in Liberty City, due to the absence of traffic and pedestrians. The picnic area provides good views of northern Staunton Island, but the tranquility is suspect because thieves and robbers in the city choose this place for their misdeeds. It is implied that crime is rather high in this park, but despite this, Staunton View remains a very popular place for tourists.
Staunton View only has one access road, which can be found near the North West Towers. An easier way to get to the park is to jump from the road that is in Cedar Grove, but not always secure and that takes away a lot of Health or Body Armor by the case. Although it is a comfort zone, can also be considered a park over of Liberty City.

- In Grand Theft Auto III, D-Ice sends Claude and D-Ice's Brother to kill a bunch of Purple Nines.
- In the side mission Gripped! in GTA III, Claude uses a Patriot to navigate through some obstacles in the hills.
